I went to this drive with family. Went way earlier than usual and line-up with another club only to realise after I put my flag on that it is not the club I drive with. So we just went ahead and hung around a lonely tree. It was an afternoon drive that lasted till evening and it was my first semi-night drive.
It was a packed convoy with lots of drivers. From the starting point we went east of Qudra. A total of 16 drivers in a newbie drive in the evening. I could only guess how it will go, till we drove. Initial bit of drive was on long range dunes so it was quite fluid but as soon as we reached technical portion of the drive all hell broke loose. Man o man there were plenty of refusals and stucks though out the drive. I was chilling with the family while the support staff was busy recovering stuck cars in the front as well as at the back.
In total we drove for 20 km in 3:12 hours in total, of which only 1:27 hours were spent moving and rest was consumed in recoveries.
