The drive stared a bit late as the initial meeting point was overcrowded due to a cycle race. We took a loop to go to usual meeting point of Bab Al Shams and from there we started towards the long range dunes of Al Qudra. After a few minutes of fast driving on those dunes we stated towards Ghantoot and soon had a very nasty poppet in a very difficult position. It took my winch to be used to move the car from the place so that he could be brought to a good place to re-inflate the tire. All in all an eventful day.
